SINGLE PAGE RESPONSIVE WEB DESIGN

While employed at Global Data Consultants LLC (GDC IT Solutions), Christopher Hann played an instrumental role in the redesign of the Eshbaugh Chiropractic website. The project aimed to modernize the practice’s online presence and improve the patient experience across devices by creating a responsive website. Built using the DotNetNuke content management system on ASP.net, the redesign combined intuitive design with enhanced functionality.

Key Contributions:

Wireframing and Layout Design: Christopher conceptualized the website structure by creating detailed wireframes, establishing a clear and user-friendly layout that guided the development process.

Graphic Design: He developed the site's visual identity, leveraging skeletal 3D imagery layered in Photoshop to craft a striking blue landing page section. The supporting dark grey background sections provided contrast and enhanced readability, contributing to a professional yet approachable aesthetic.

User Experience Design: With a focus on simplicity and usability, Christopher ensured the design minimized distractions and optimized navigation for seamless interaction on web, tablet, and mobile platforms.

Tools and Technologies Used: Christopher utilized Adobe XD, Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, and HTML/CSS to deliver the design components. The final implementation was executed by an in-house application developer, who translated the design into the DotNetNuke CMS using ASP.net and JavaScript.

Design Approach: The website adhered to a clean, modern aesthetic aligned with the chiropractic practice’s focus on health and functionality. The design balanced professional imagery with minimalistic elements to create a welcoming and effective user experience.
Content and Branding:

During the initial design phases, Christopher incorporated placeholder “Lorem Ipsum” text and a fictional company brand to simulate content flow. This approach ensured the layout and design were adaptable to the client's finalized copy and branding.
